AGU Giraffe contactless thermometer measures the temperature without touching the baby for only 1 second. It has a new technology using an infrared sensor that allows fast and accurate measurement.
It is very important to get reliable information about the temperature of the child at the first suspicion that it is rising. But children do not like standing for a long time and therefore do not like measuring the temperature. And sleeping children is better not to worry.
The AGU infrared thermometer can be used in different ways:
- to measure body temperature without touching;
- to measure the temperature of the milk in a baby bottle;
- for measuring the temperature of the water in the baby bath, ambient temperature;
The human body regulates its temperature around a certain value - the temperature may vary by about 1 ° C during the day. Moreover, the internal temperature and temperature on the surface of the skin show different values. For this reason, there is no "normal" body temperature, it always matters where it is measured. Measuring the temperature at different points of the body will give different readings. Absolutely normal is the temperature measured orally different from that measured axillary, and it is wrong to compare the two readings.
Below is the normal temperature measured in different body parts:
- Rectal - 36.6 ° C ÷ 38 ° C (97.9 ° F ÷ 100.4 ° F);
- Axial - 34.7 ° C ÷ 37.3 ° C (94.5 ° F ÷ 99.1 ° F);
- Oral - 35.5 ° С ÷ 37.5 ° C (95.9 ° F ÷ 99.1 ° F);
- Auricular (ear) - 35.8 ° C ÷ 38 ° C (96.4 ° F ÷ 100.4 ° F);
